Full Stack Engineer (React.js / RoR)

  • We are looking for a remote, full-time Full Stack Engineer with 3+ years of experience in React.
  • js and Ruby on Rails to join the core development team of our U.
  • S. client. You will design, build, and deliver the best financial software on the planet!

Our client is growing rapidly and is looking for smart, bold risk-takers to further its product strategy of market disruption and expansion.

  • Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test new features for the client’s next-gen trading platform
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code
  • Participate in and support the full continuous testing and delivery pipeline
  • Join the engineering support rotation, assisting the Customer Success team
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and feature tests
  • Review code and tests written by other team members
  • Identify and eliminate technical debt
  • Accept, act on, and provide feedback promptly
  • Seek and provide timely technical assistance and clarification.
  • Collaborate with and mentor team members
  • Learn new technologies (and help your teammates learn them too)
  • Support the client’s growth by contributing to open-source projects and representing the client within the developer community
  • Required Experience
  • Excellent English communication and teamwork skills
  • 3+ years of experience developing full-stack applications with React.
  • js and Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with TypeScript, SQL-compliant databases, Go, Python, or other open-source and commercial technologies, such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
  • Experience with high-volume, event-based system architectures and Agile software development practices
  • A self-disciplined, task-oriented approach to development, testing, and code structure

  • Preferred Experience
  • University degree in Computer Science, a related field of study, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in finance and/or energy, commodities, or equity trading
  • Experience with enterprise-grade software and highly secure, multi-tenant SaaS solutions
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with real-time, data-streaming technologies such as Kafka
  • Experience with Ember
