About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven General Manager to lead our operations in Brazil, one of the fastest-growing regulated sports-betting markets in the world. This is a senior leadership role responsible for spearheading local market strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving user acquisition, and overseeing P&L performance.

As our key local representative, you’ll work cross-functionally with global teams and local stakeholders to shape our go-to-market strategy, deliver strong commercial outcomes, and build a trusted, high-performing brand in Brazil.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the launch, growth, and full market lifecycle of our sports-betting operations in Brazil.
  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve acquisition, retention, and revenue targets.
  • Align efforts across internal teams such as Acquisition, Affiliates, Social Media, and CRM.
  • Ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and efficiency targets are met.
  • Build and nurture relationships with regulatory authorities, affiliates, payment providers, and marketing partners.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance with Brazilian legislation and proactively manage licensing requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, user behaviours, and competitor activity to inform and adjust strategy.
  • Serve as the key spokesperson and brand advocate in the market.
  • Collaborate with global product, legal, compliance, operations, and marketing teams to localise the offering.
  • Recruit, lead, and manage local teams and external partners as needed
  • Player Acquisition: Oversee PPC, SEO, programmatic ads, and media buying to maximise ROI.
  • Manage internal tech partnerships to scale efforts.
  • Affiliate Marketing: Optimise affiliate programs, recruit partners, track KPIs, and ensure timely pay-outs.
  • Social media & Branding: Drive brand visibility and engagement across platforms, including Twitch, Instagram, and YouTube. Align messaging with marketing campaigns.
  • CRM & Retention: Design personalised retention strategies using lifecycle marketing (email, SMS, push) and player data. Optimise promotions and loyalty programs.
  • Data & Budget Management: Track KPIs, analyse campaign performance, and refine targeting. Manage the marketing budget to achieve cost-effective growth.
  • R equirements:
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
  • 8+ years of experience in a commercial leadership role, with at least 3 years in sports betting, iGaming, or online entertainment.
  • Deep understanding of the Brazilian regulatory and consumer landscape.
  • Proven track record in launching and/or scaling operations in a regulated market.
  • Strong knowledge of acquisition marketing, retention strategies, and player lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with distributed teams.
