Role Purpose
As a HSEQ Engineer , you will be the focal point for Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards while promoting a safety-first culture within the organization. Your role will be critical in safeguarding OCS’s interests and ensuring the operational integrity of all activities.

- Key Deliverables
- Safety and Compliance
- Act as the HSEQ focal point, managing internal and external interfaces.
- Deliver HSE inductions and training programs.
- Oversee daily HSEQ-related activities to ensure risks remain ALARP.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective/preventive action implementations.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and certifications.
- Maintain Emergency Response Plans and Compliance Registers.
- Facilitate HAZID, ENVID, and assurance audits including close-outs.
- Support implementation of Security protocols with CSO.
- Ensure timely incident reporting and learning integration.
- Leadership
- Lead by example in ethics, safety, and professionalism.
- Inspire and engage team members to meet organizational goals.
- Commercial & Business Support
- Safeguard OCS business interests.
- Support QHSE requirements in project proposals and quotations.
- Technical
- Monitor Permit-to-Work activities (confined space, hot work, working at height).
- Support site supervisors in resolving HSE issues.
- Promote the STOP Card system for hazard identification.
- Conduct safety inductions, drills, and emergency response planning.
- Communication
- Maintain proactive communication with team members, Line Manager, VP, and BVH.
- Adhere to the AIMS Communication Matrix.
- Processes & Documentation
- Follow Operating Manual and Document Management Processes (AIMS Insider).
- Participate in internal/external audits and ensure documentation compliance.
- Operational Excellence
- Drive operational efficiency improvements and contribute to “Constant Improvement” initiatives across AIMS Division.
- Key Accountabilities
- Ensure full compliance with HSQE requirements for all activities related to Brazilian customers and maintain OCS safety standards throughout operations.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Education
- Diploma/Degree in Quality Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Specialization in HSE preferred.
- Offshore Safety Training Certification (BOSIET/FOET, etc.
- ).
- Offshore Medical Fitness Certification.
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong background in HSEQ coordination and compliance.
- Experience in steel repair and multi-national environments is preferred.
