We are currently seeking a Senior Field Technician specializing in Mechanics to strengthen our team. The ideal candidate will hold a technical diploma in Mechanics (CFT) and have at least 8 years of hands-on experience. Advanced or fluent English proficiency is required, as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform services, including commissioning and technical support, aboard offshore units at shipyards and their final destinations or anchorages globally.
- Report activities locally and to the company’s management team.
- Ensure compliance with Company’s quality standards.
- Required Skills:
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally for project assignments.
Advanced understanding of mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatic systems, variable-displacement piston pumps, fixed or variable displacement hydraulic motors, safety valves, pressure and temperature sensors, gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders and brakes.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, hydraulic and pneumatics schematics.
- Desired Skills:
- Experience with electric starter panels, motors, engines, electrical circuits.
- Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Understanding of winches, chain tensioning systems, and crane functionalities.
